The Connected, Liveable London Committee seeks to provide thought leadership and positively influence stakeholders on the need for more connected and coordinated planning and transport systems necessary for the future development of London. Its work includes pressing for London’s development as a leading world city in sustainable transport and planning, making members aware of plans for transport and the built environment, and offering opportunities for members to showcase examples, network, partner and do business.

Natalie Chapman

Committee Chair. Head of Policy – South, Logistics UK

Natalie has over 18 years of experience in the logistics industry. She leads on Logistics UK’s policy engagement for the South of England, including developing and shaping transport policy; engaging with political and policy stakeholders; and representing the industry in the media.

Matt Barker

Managing Director, CSB Logistics

Matt is MD of CSB Logistics – leading operator of Consolidation Centres that control just-in-time freight deliveries to inner-city projects. Matt is on several committees driving improvement in construction logistics and works closely with industry leaders and local authorities addressing road safety, pollution and congestion.

James Bompas

Director, Strategic Planning and Business Development, Iceni Projects

James principally works on larger, strategic planning applications, often accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment. This frequently involves site promotion, allocation, the co-ordination of planning application submissions and, where necessary, appeal work. Clients include housebuilders, strategic funds and property companies.

Mo is the Associate Director of Corporate Affairs for Canary Wharf Group. He has previously held roles managing Special Projects and as Head of Government Relations at CWG. He leads on engaging corporate stakeholders, Government relations and transport infrastructure for the Group.
